Construction Work Days

Saturday will be a work day.
Flex Friday will be a work day.

Be a Habitat Volunteer

Habitat for Humanity IWV has no paid staff, so we rely on our volunteers. We seek people from all parts of our community’s socio-economic and racial/ethnic diversity to help. If you have a heart for serving our community, be a part of the Habitat Movement! Volunteers are needed to help with construction, office work, and administration. You don’t need to be an expert or even have any experience--we’ll put you to work at something you can do. Just fill out and submit the area of interest form below and you will be contacted by a Habitat IWV volunteer-coordinator. Young People can help, too. See our Youth page for more information on ways you can help. If you have a group who wants to volunteer or if you are coming from out of town, we want you!

If you are 16 yrs or older, come out and build. We provide the tools, break snack and lunch. Our usual workday runs from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Flex Fridays and every Saturday. During the summer months, we start at 7 a.m. and end after lunch. For more construction information, check our Projects page. Print out our Waiver of Liability and Emergency Contacts Form and bring to the job site.
